I was under the assumption that the numbers were cut out of the metal, but they are simply stickers placed on the very thin piece of metal. Not a bad purchase, but I was expecting a better quality article.

It is great but was expecting it to be black. I think it will be up high enough that it will still look good.

For the price, although the number is centered and larger than the written street address below than I would prefer or maybe increase the printing to get closer to the boarder but this is only personal preference and my opinion. So that is why I still felt it deserves 5 stars and in consideration of the discounted price. I also liked the old/tarnished look. Provided that I would own this more than many years will the color hold out, this review is based upon only receiving and displaying it for a month. I do hope the color will maintain and weathering, e.g. sand blowing and hitting the sign will slightly scratch the plate and along with UV rays which I don't suspect it will fade the color/engravement. I hope this review is helpful for others.

My husband LOVED this gift! It was inexpensive and a good quality product Shipping took awhile due to personalization and mail backups I assume, but that was expected! I gave 4 stars because it does not come with anyway to hang it
