Sweetheart Lace Dress
When my best friend asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and I could wear any dress as long as it was light pink, I quickly found this dress on Jane.com. I've bought multiple dresses from Jane and haven't had any issues. I've even bought pleated tops from this seller and wear them on a regular basis with no problem. I was excited to wear this for the wedding based on the picture and to have the dress to wear again and again after the wedding but, I have to say, I was disappointed in this dress. The zipper was cheap. I couldn't get it up myself. The dress fit very well so that wasn't the issue, but the zipper just wouldn't budge. I had to have someone help me zip it up, when she went to zip it, the zipper broke. This partially tore a circle of lace on the back of the dress. With the wedding being so close, I aligned each zipper tooth so that the dress zipper would be shut, and slid it over my head to put it on and take it off. I had to be super careful in this process and as I moved so I wouldn't accidentally open up the zipper again. There was a straight line of lace torn at the seam on the arm of the dress before I ever wore it. The side of the dress also had a clump of thread hanging out the side. I'm obsessed with dresses and love Jane.com. I rarely write review, but this dress was disappointing in it's lack of quality. I received complements on the beauty of this dress, but the stress of not being able to put it on normally because of the broken zipper, worrying as I was wearing it that the zipper would break open the back of the dress, and knowing that there were holes in the lace and that I wouldn't be able to wear this dress again was frustrating. My intention in writing this review is so the seller may consider using more quality material for a better product and experience. Thank you for your consideration and time.
