Material was very different that picture made it look. Very disappointed

So disappointed in this top. I waited like 3 weeks for it to ship, which the seller was actually really nice about and gave me a free gift for the inconvenience. I finally got it a couple days ago and am so bummed. It's extremely thin, which I probably could get over if the fit was right. I ordered my usual size medium, and the sleeves are nice and long but the body is super small. It's really tight and comes just right below my belly button, which looks ridiculous in contrast to the long, loose sleeves, and the rounded bottom hem. With it being a round hem, the sides come up higher and are completely above my hips. I don't think sizing up one would even help because you'd probably be drowning in sleeves and would need at least another 4 inches in the body length to make it even somewhat right. I know that sizes usually only have a .5 or 1 inch difference. It could be such a cute top, but the sizing and fit is so off.
