The toe is narrow, but the ankle area is very large. I will try to exchange for smaller size. I have an average foot and wear an 8.5 in just about every shoe and need to return for an 8. Sizing down might not help with gaping part.
Slippers arrived all shoved in a mailer envelope which destroyed the cardboard holders. To give them as gifts was embarrassing with the shape they arrived in

I am so glad I decided to get these boots. The reviews I read mentioned that they ran large. I have very wide feet, so they were perfect for me. I can even wear a little heavier sock with them. They are so comfy and cute.
